If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, or even if you live close to me, you’ve probably heard my online and in real life squeeing earlier this week when I got my Kirkus review back for Chameleon.

I know it’s just a review, but it’s one of those things that makes you look at your work and realize that at least someone else loves it as much as you do.

“Debut author Hanna takes familiar sci-fi genre elements, such as an outsider network of rebels and emotionless, superhuman companions, and spins dystopian gold… From top to bottom, this is a fabulous series opener.
A bracing debut that might just knock the wind out of readers.”
Kirkus Reviews – Chameleon (The Domino Project Volume 1)

CHAMELEON Domino Project Front with Text 2

I’ll admit to having done a double take when I read it. This wasn’t the review I was expecting, or even hoping for. So I’m just going to take it and not even mention the autocorrect typo lol.

Seriously though – acting as my own publisher, this is something I felt I needed. While hubs did get it for me as a birthday present, it’s something I should have done anyway to coincide with the launch. While it’s too late now, at least I can chalk it up to experience.
