The latter half of this year sort of kicked me in the butt. I had some difficult family news to work through, and some upheaval in my personal life. But I pushed through and focused on Jami and my new project (Chimera Editing Services) to pull me through.
That being said, I still want to keep my blog up. I’ve always found it a good place to pour out thoughts.
In this vein my plans for my blog are going to change a little. I’ll work on setting a schedule of posts with specific dates for different topics, thus giving myself deadlines.
I work so much better with deadlines.
I’m looking forward to the next year. I have several plotbunnies that are slowly developing, intern work that I love, and now with Chimera launched (officially doing so in January), I feel like I’m in a much better place work wise. Not to mention I’m looking forward to #PitchMadness, #PitMad, and #PitchWars again in 2015.
I will make up a tentative schedule and see if there’s anything else people would like to know about. It’s not possible for me to talk about my intern work, sorry (pretty standard in the industry), but I do have experience being an agented writer, so there’s that.
Let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to hear about. By January my site should be totally reworked too – at the moment it’s only almost there.
It’s nice to be back – and with a plan.
How has everyone else been?
