Since I started using Twitter frequently earlier this year, I’ve made a lot of friends and discovered a whole world of mutual blog promotion I didn’t realize existed. It’s amazing how much support the writing community generates for each other.
I’m so proud to have won placings in both the 2nd and 3rd writer’s campaign challenges. And think Rachael did an amazing job with organizing and providing the opportunity to so many people. If you’re interested in my pieces they’re here.
One of the girls is editing a sort of anthology of the flash fiction pieces from the challenge. It’s to raise money for charity and will be available at Amazon, B&N and Smashwords. Will keep everyone posted.
Can’t wait for the next one!
I’m currently participating in the I Love Dark YA Blogfest. I have to do a better job of getting around to other people’s blogs next round.
Speaking of which, I need to keep up with my Google Reader better. Not to mention my twitter feed.
So much to do, so much to read, so many things to write – and so damned little time! Remind me to do a big huge thank you award post next week. It’s long overdue.
How are you going with time management lately? I know mine doesn’t seem to be working out at all.
Congrats on your wins ๐ The Campaign was really fun…I met a lot of awesome people.
Thank you so much! Those pages took a lot of unique hits – it’s quite astonishing lol. I had a great time on this campaign and am truly grateful for all the people I met
Congratulations! ๐
Thank you very much ๐
Time management? I think it’s a myth, like alchemy ๐
You’re probably right rofl. I usually just forgo sleep, but at the moment I’m on a strict diet and sleep is paramount… urg
Whatever happened to all the time we had as a chile? Do you remember willing and praying from school to end, for your birthday, halloween, Thanksgiving or Chrismas? Time is a very relative thing and it really is a matter of perspective. The least amount of responsibilities seem to weild the most amount of time. Besides to a 2 year old, a single year is 50% of her life. To a 40 year old, 1 year is only 1/40. Time is indeed relative. If we keep our brain engaged, always learning, time always goes by way too fast. But if we sit there waiting, not doing anything, time has a way of standing still. (A watched pot never boils)
Was Einstein correct? At least in this aspect of time, I believe he was. ๐
I don’t know – my childhood never had time. I had ballet 4 times a week, piano lessons once a week… My mother kept me VERY busy lol.
Time management? I laugh. I scoff. I don’t even have a watch. <,<
Haha – love that. Well, I have a watch, but don’t wear it, does that count?
Aloha K.T.,
Reading through my e-copy of “Campaigner Challenges 2011” and I found your “our Imago” story…. very cool and dark ๐
